Kristin’s love of horses started when her parent’s purchased a month worth of lessons for her 10th birthday, but it never ended. Through her novice years she was picked up by coaches who invested in training her to break ponies. These opportunities launched her career. Kristin was diligent in learning from top international professionals in the industry and at the age of 18 became one of Equine Canada’s Hunter/ Jumper judging officials under the guidance of FEI Judge Evie Frisque and Randy Roy.
In addition, she became a certified Competition Coach with Equine Canada and opened Frosted Hill Equestrian. In Kristin’s late teens she began training and mentoring with Grand Prix dressage rider Stephanie Jensen and attending clinics with FEI International Dressage Judge Cara Whitham. Over the last several years she has been coaching riders that have gone on and developed into the international ring. In addition to coaching, Kristin has developed and sold many young horses for the Hunter and Dressage competition ring across North America.
In 2019 Kristin became a member of Canada’s National Coaching Certification Program and is developing under the guidelines of Equine Canada & Ontario Equestrian the coaches of tomorrow. In 2019 Kristin became an official Examiner for Equine Canada’s Learn to Ride level 1-8 program. Her devotion to development does not stop and will continue to grow in order to produce the highest quality lessons and training.

Frosted Hill Equestrian was established in 2013 by Kristin McCullough offering freelance equestrian services in Kawartha Lakes, ON. Through the years FHE has specialized in building confidence, creating strong partnerships, and providing safe & fun equestrian education throughout every lesson. FHE is devoted to developing Equestrian riders for both the Hunter/Jumper & Dressage ring, and to produce quality equine teammates.
In 2019 FHE expanded their services across Southern Ontario while still having a home base facility in Lindsay, ON. At Frosted Hill Equestrian our goal is developing the industry leaders of tomorrow with every stride.
